Bacon on a pizza..would you?

I've had egg lots of times on a Pizza. It's really good. Tastes a lot better than it sounds.

As for bacon- of course.

I was going to say you should precook it first. I've found it comes out much better that way. Usually I grill it till it's almost done, then add to top of pizza which finishes it off.

Two oven trays the same size - ish
Cover one tray in silver foil
Lightly oil the tray with foil
Place bacon on tray and lightly drizzle with oil and season with anything you fancy
Cover again with silver foil
Place other oven tray on top of the bacon and push it down hard or place some weight on top
Place in oven for around 20 minutes or until crispy

Remove from oven and enjoy flat crispy bacon slices like you get in some fast food outlets.

I've never been that keen on the 'Disco' pizzas. That's my nickname for the take away stuff you get.

I like the Italiano jobbies, similar to what you get in the likes of Prezzo.

I'll eat the disco pizzas but they are just pure grease. Pizza Hut are probably the worst offenders.

Pizza have evolved into a sloppy mess.

Does anyone have anchovies?
