Mayonnaise, I can tolerate it in small amounts but when you buy a sandwich from the supermarket or a sandwich store, they always smother it in an ocean of the stuff

Any food that I already hate could be made worse by having it 'mature'in the fridge for a couple of days... It would still be perfectly edible however if not properly covered it always smells and tastes of 'fridge'... Flavour transfer of course. It's just this 'fridge' smell that I don't like, of course it varies depending on the contents of the fridge but the smell still remains, and after cleaning it can be made worse due to the water.

Ice cream and ice cream cones that have been in the freezer for longer than they bargained for.. They develop a 'frist' and the texture transforms completely and is more ice and crunchy rather than soft and easy to scoop- 'soft scoop', my backside.
Cones are worse- never mind the ice cream texture change, the cone becomes soggy completely, nkt crispy at all and would also make a good food nightmare.

Our idea of mayonnaise is crap though.
I wish I could remember the brand of continental mayo my mother buys off the net.
Much higher egg yolk content than uk mayo.
Very yellow in colour, creamy as hell.
It's not calve, before someone suggests that.

If you meant those, congratulations on being brave enough to say so.
After all the stuff we get about how great they are it was like suddenly getting comfirmation that the emperor's new clothes didn't exist - a real breath of fresh air - especially for the stinking curry.

Back in the day an ex and myself were making corned beef sandwiches and as I was cutting through I came across this tube (artery)!!! It was like a piece of watercooling tubing it was that big. I quickly put it in her sarnie and watched in horror as she took a bite. We were both very nearly sick there and then, and it's probably why she left me after I told her.

Suffice to say I am now an ex connoisseur of beef of the corned variety as I still get shivers thinking about it.

Frankly, some of you ladies have an odd idea of what constitutes a "nightmare". There are a few foods I would find odd or distasteful but would only find something like a sheeps eyeball or chilled monkey brains to be "a nightmare"

I'm surprised some of you have the ability get out of bed in the morning without getting caught up in your petticoats

It depends how hungry i am.  But i agree, mostly, about long pig, but if i am ever in a plane crash in a remote mountainous region and there are a bunch of survivors with rapidly depleting food supplies then i would risk CJD to have a meal.
