Ok guys been a while (and busy!) so re-visiting this now, the MPV 2 and Aspire ET-S are still going just but it's time for a change! I have ordered an Eleaf 50w and a Beyond Vape Silo Tank due to favorible reviews and the BVC changeable coils @RandomLee I notice you were using a silo tank, what sort of settings were you using?

I haven't used it much lately as I'm down to my last coil, but I normally use 1.6ohm coils at around 15-18w, and mostly high or Max VG juice. I'd love to find some 1.0 or 1.2ohm coils for it though. Great tanks anyway

Been using it for 24hrs now and love it, battery not moved on the display yet (old MVP would have needed charging by now) Silo tank is awesome, only running at 12w/4.6v at the moment and its producing far more vapour than the old set up

@RandomLee do you have any problems opening the Silo for refilling, it's been 2 weeks now and I almost feel like I need a vice to open the thing! no leaks though and it's not cross threaded or anything?

Dont think any tank is immune to getting tight. Heat does it. Ive just got an elastic band in my little case for when needed. Wrap around for grip, otherwise can be impossible on occasion to open my nautilus or ego one tank.

@blicky_1 I've seen this stuff recommended.
Electrolube HTG (High Temperature Grease) - HogVaping.
50ml would probably last a very long time as you would need very little of it.
When st/st is screwed together it often 'galls', or binds,  we often use different compounds to prevent this at my work, but I wouldn't want any of it near my vapes!

Never really had a problem with my attys though, but I did used get sticky threads with my Emow and mark 1 Subtank rbas.

I have been vaping for 2 years now and never had this problem before with any other tank, I thought it might be as it was new to start with but a couple of weeks on and it's still as tight. Will try some of the suggestions, thanks guys....

Update: - I had to resort to pliers to get it open today!

I have emailed ProVapes and they are sending me out a new tank, 2nd time lucky hopefully as it's a great tank apart from the opening issues!
