I'm still using my Pro Vari with Kanger 2 Tanks, but I'm wanting to get some more flavour and cloud though and considering getting a Kanger protank 3 as it's a dual coil.

I have tried rebuildables and coiling myself over the past couple of years, but I really don't get on with doing that. I'm just after a new tank with cheap replaceable coils along the lines of the protanks, so hoping the dual coil pro tank 3 is ok.

I have seen the protank 3 on amazon for £12, which I think is pretty cheap, but there are sellers on there who seem to sell counterfeit stuff, so I'm not sure if it's the place to buy them.

Is anyone able to offer any advice on what is about these days with tanks like the protank? I'm after one along the same lines, maybe a dual coil one and one that I can cheaply and easily get hold of new packs of coils.

I think I'm right in thinking the Provari is VV only so Sub ohm tanks are a waste of time. You could go with a Protank 3 or Aerotank V2, I used the Protank 2 for ages and it was great coupled with a Naturevape coil. I found the standard silica based coils a bit lacking in flavour but the Naturevape ones use cotton and you can rewick them. The Aerotank is similar to the Protank but has an upgraded coil system and airflow control.

I don't know how much you vape but the only negative with these Protanks was the capacity. Another option would be the Aspire Nautilus. It is very popular and has around 5ml capacity. I have not used one as I prefer rebuildables but people rate them well for flavour and vapour production.

Cheers for that.

I usually go through a tank full a day, so about 2.8ml of liquid. I had seen the Protank 3 and Aerotanks, the dual coils look promising.

I've not heard of the Aspire you mention, I'll take a look.

I have come across the subtanks and also a little box called the eleaf iStick 50w and 100w, but those are quite new to me, and I guess it'll not be good using 18mg nicotine liquid in those from what I read, though I'm not sure. That iStick certainly looks like it has a few more features thant the pro vari does and the cost is good.

I use the eLeaf istick 50w with a Kanger subtank nano. Great flavour and 3ml capacity. You might want to go down a strength or two with your liquids,I'm on 4-6mg now, lots of throat hit, the best setup I've used so far, worth a look. The battery lasts me 2 days normally.

I'd been looking at the eleaf istick 50w, it sounds and looks a lot more advanced than the provari I have, not american made, but the build looks pretty good.

I called a local store yesterday afternoon and they recommended the istick 40w, but the 50w is only an extra tenner (in store prices, but being a londoner....well, lutonian, I'm a bit of a del boy ), not really sure what the difference is between them and even seen a 100w one. That said, I have not got a bloody scooby about what wattages I'd be having to use??

I have also been told that I can still use my existing kanger 1/2 tanks on there (Can I??) with the 18mg ejuice, but I'll be getting another tank as well if I did get one, so would give the sub ohm ones a blast with some lesser strength juice. I don't like too harsh a throat hit, but I do need enough nicotine to satisfy my craving, and I pretty much chain vape, especially with a nice sweet tasting juice

I certainly want more taste of the flavours and more 'clouds' (? Steam or whatever it is), so I'm going to be trying to get to the shop later today to have a look.

Go for the 50w it'll feel huge at first but you'll soon be used to it. It's worth getting a better tank too, definatly recommend the subtank nano. If you want more vapour get a high VG content juice,I use 50/50 as it happens but my daughter uses juice with 80/20 VG/PG mix .....clouds everywhere lol.

As far as voltages go,set it to 4.5 to start and try it,adjust up or down as required with different flavours,I use between 4 and 5 volts for mine, with the coil I have atm minimum is 2 max is 5.4. Swapping the readout from watts to volts is easy on the iStick, just quick triple press the main button.

Bah, I got big hands, I doubt the size would be a problem.

Sounds like I'll be picking one up today then I'll certainly be getting another tank (will try a sub ohm tank), the chap at the store mentioned a Smok Atta Tank:
I don't know what they are like, but I'll have a look, try if possible. Other than that I'm not sure what other brands they stock.

When it comes to tanks, I'm not one for re wicking, I really need to buy pre built coils, they are usually about £7-10 for 5 and last 2-4 weeks.

I vape currently on the provari around 4-4.4v depending on juice, though the pro tanks and coils are not very good with a 50/50, they are better with 30/70 or 40/60. That's good that I can change it to voltages then, all the youtube videos are using watts, so I thought that was the only thing to go by.
