i had the kanger protank / Vamo battery mod, which was great with no issues, but then started leaking juice, not massive amounts, but it would collect in the screw connection between the tank and the vamo, then started gurgling noises when having a puff.

i'd had it a fair old while so thought it was just worn out, i bought a new protank m2 or mk3 (cant remember which) and within 2 weeks its all starting again..leaking into the connection thread..and gurgling.

now i dont want to throw away another tank if im missing something like a 10p rubber seal etc.. help

thankyou

I'm using the same set up (Vamo/protank2) right now but thankfully not experienced your problem. If we can rule out the tank due to that fact that they are both doing it then could it be that the Vamo is set too high and causing a problem? Melting the o rings/rubber gromit or something along those lines? I'm far from an expert and look to the pros on here for all I need to know but that is the first thing that sprang to my mind.

As a rule you shouldn't let Protanks get below about 1/3 full. Sounds silly but they just don't like it and leak and gurgle if you do. Does yours do it all the time? If so is the coil screwed in tight to the base? They can unscrew a bit after you have taken it off to refill.

So it's the o ring on the coil head? Did your new protank not come with a couple of spare heads?

Don't throw it out! I'll give you a few quid for it just for spare parts rather than it go completely to waste!
