EDGE Magazine Issue Zero - What's it worth?

I was searching through some old issues of Edge magazine and came across the very first pilot issue (issue Zero) and was wondering what it was worth.  I can see on eBay that there is a copy with a Buy it now price of £950.  Is this a realistic price or is he/she being a little optimistic?

So if I were to eBay it, what sort of price should I be starting at?

Christ, if there's one on for £950, I'll flog mine...

That's insane!! It's not worth that much. I would have said perhaps £20-30 or so to a collector.

Is that all, I'm disappointed now

I remember last year there was another copy on for a while, he started the auction at a few thousand and kept dropping it every few weeks.  No body bought it but he had loads of offers, I'd love to know what those offers were.

I'll see how this auction goes and then list mine, as I don't want to flood the market

Hi guys do either of you still have your Edge issue 0? Would love to have one to complete my collection and can offer several hundred depending on condition.

Sorry, but I sold off all my early issues to a local collector a few years back.  Good luck with your search though.

I've still got Edge issue 0 in one of my boxes with all my other first editions. Next time I'm at my garages, I'll have a look. Might be another 4 or 5 years before I remember to respond though.
