Bad
Lose access to PS4 Exclusives.
Not as shiny graphics on Xbox One S over PS4

Good
UHD Drive on Xbox One S
Better Controller imo
Xbox Games Pass & EA Access means for a small cost an instant library of great games

Any way to own both ?
You can get some good deals on an S

All depends why you want to jump over and what games you like to play and if you have friends you play with online.

If you're getting an Xbox at this stage, get an X.

Other than the UHD drive on the S, not sure why you'd swap a PS4 for it at this stage.

The X, however, is the beastmode console.

The One S is virtually pointless graphics wise as the PS4 plays pretty much everything better (except for 4K Media content obviously).

It should really come down to 2 things really, do you have friends on a particular platform that you want to play online with and which platform has more of the types of games you want to play (cross-plats aside).

Unless you’re prepared to plump for a One X I would say stick with the PS4 but even then I would keep the PS4 for the exclusives.

Almost nothing to be honest it comes down to personal preference. The only 2 reasons I would swap my PS4 for an XBOX One S (I own both Pro and X) is to play my UHD disc movies and to play the exclusive games which have been meh anyway.

Both consoles have a pay to play service but XBOX also has EA Access. The games on all three services aren't anything special in my opinion. Just join a game rental site and get access to everything across all formats.

I would personally keep the PS4 and buy a cheap XBOX One for around £100 second hand. Unless you want the UHD.

To be honest you can get a used One S for a little more than £100 which makes it worth it

you can get HDR even on a normal ps4, controller is personal taste i prefer dual shock as i dont have to buy a play and charge kit also has speaker and dedicated share button, xbox live seems to be as unreliable nowdays and their sale prices arnt as good
