Question LG27UK650-W vs Samsung KS8500 for XB1X

Hi there,
So ever since I had Samsung KS8500 and LG27UK650-W I had difficult time deciding if for PS4 Pro or XB1X should I be using LG monitor UK650-W or Samsung KS8500. According to RTINGS review their rating for HDR gaming for LG27UK650-W is lower than Samsung KS8500. Should I trust their review and use Samsung KS8500 for HDR console gaming. Guys I need honest sincere opinion. One think I can understand that XB1X has freesync option which could be beneficial for LG monitor. Much appreciate for feedback

I would say the KS8500 (VA some local dimming) is a better HDR display than the UK650 (IPS no local dimming), the Samsung is brighter in HDR and has better contrast too.

The Freesync range on the UK650 is 40-60Hz, this means it only covers games that run in the 40-60fps range on Xbox, that is largely 60fps titles that dip into the 50's, below 40fps Freesync on that monitor will do nothing, a lot of console games are 30fps capped.

If your big into multi-player titles of which the biggest ones are 60fps and you want the lowest input lag, latency and smoothest experience then the Freesync monitor would take priority over TV HDR.
