Why do the 12 1 live cards cost more than the 12 month ones   1/12 of their cost?

On cheapxboxlivecodes for example 12 months is £25.99 = £2.17 per month
So for 13 months surely it should be no more than £25.99   £2.17 ie £28.16 but in fact it is £28.99.

The figures are different but its the same on any of the other sites i have looked at. That is the 13th month seems to be more expensive than the first 12.

I know we're only talking about a few pennies but it just seemed rather odd to me.

Anyway, have ordered a 12 month card and hopefully will get the number sooner rather than later

I think people increased their prices on 12 1 because they were coming to an end. I'm surprised you can still buy them these days, must be old stock as Microsoft stopped making them months back.

well i just ordered from cheapxboxlivecodes and paid via paypal. it took 2 minutes to get an email back with a code. Cant try it yet mind to make sure it works, but thats quick!

Not yet JM - order got cancelled. I had never used paypal before so i didn't have a paypal account. I got an email from cheapxboxlivecodes saying they only accepted verified paypal accounts for payment (despite it not saying this on the website and them accepting other forms of payment through the site!)
So i am currently setting up a paypal account - waiting for them to make deposits in my bank account for the confirmation process.
