Its all a bit strange how they have sold out and then suddenly they have a few more!!!!!

It all smacks of over hype this time round after the NES Mini.  I have feeling they might not discontinue this one but that all the sellers have made a deal with Nintendo to drip feed them over the next 6 months to keep demand high for them.

Nintendo have already said there will be more units than of the NES version, but that it only plans to ship in 2017: Nintendo Promises 'Significantly More Units of Super NES Classic Edition', But Only in 2017

Hopefully having pre-orders three months ahead will mean they're better prepared and can at least plan a bit better for meeting demand.

Available on Amazon.de, but bit more expensive than UK.
Might be worth anyone needing one to get an order in as backup, and then cancel it once you secure a cheaper UK one.
