Nintendo Store have yet to open their pre-orders, so they're an obvious one to keep an eye on.

Thanks to Fergal82 and ITRUK I managed to get preorders in at Amazon and Shopto, so hopefully one of them comes through for me.

Just walked into my local GAME shop and preordered without any problems.

The staff only found out as they were closing yesterday and just had a email print out of the details this morning.

£10 stuck on it and went away happy

Just seen a couple of interesting tidbits online.
Looks like the SNES mini uses the Wii controller ports and you can use the Wii Classic Controller and Wii Classic Controller Pro
Picture I saw confirms the SNES ports you can see on the Mini are actually a plastic cover, covering the Wii controller ports.
                                                                               

I wonder if these controllers are left over stock from Club Nintendo SNES controllers

How does that work don't those plug in to the Wii Mote and therefore have a really short cord?

SNES Classic controller cables will be longer than 3 measly feet
Hopefully will be the same for Europe.
