yea their old consoles were considered entertainment systems when originally designed by nintendo.
I think more than anything it's an area of gaming itself that many of the big 3 might not want to touch due to the reputation mobile/smartphone games have within the community of hardcore gamers. I don't think they will want to divide opinion and their fans. it would be good to see sony/microsoft/nintendo take advantage of that huge market, i'm just not sure how they'd successfully do it and keep everyone happy. |
