Think this is in the right part of the forum apologies if not. I own a PS Vita but I'm thinking of getting a DS as there are some games only on DS that I'd like to play such as Mario kart, Pokemon, Mario Bros. was wondering if anybody has both a Vita and DS and if they would recommend getting a DS as well. Also after some advice about getting a 3DS or a 3DS XL

Yeah, I'd go along with that too. I had a DSi XL previously, but the 3DS with its smaller screen didn't interest me because it felt like a downgrade. I played on my wife's 3DS a bit, but wasn't tempted myself until the XL was released.
Thanks for the replies. I think I would get the XL only thing that puts me off is the stretching of pixels. Also if it's worth getting one when I have a Vita
It's largely down to how many of the games for 3DS interest you. The target audience is different to that of the Vita. Personally I haven't gone for a Vita, but I did pick up a preowned PSP when the Vita came out so that I could play things like Loco Roco 2.
There's not loads of DS games interest me but there are a few such as Pokemon, Mario Kart, Mari Bros and Mario World. Also be interested in Layman and Animal Crossing
