Im torn between this and a s10 so interested in your choice?

The s10 has the better ui in my opinion. I think it boils down to camera and battery life though. The camera in the s10 meets my needs and then some so I'm not really sure if I'd get the full potential from the p30 camera. So I just need to decide if I need that little extra screen space and the bigger battery.

I've owned both the S10  and the P30 Pro. Overall, I'd say the S10  is the better phone. The S10  will easily last a full day, so (to me at least), it doesn't really matter that the P30 Pro has even better battery life. Both great phones though.

Its personal preference at the end of the day. For me the P30 Pro is better, but as you can see others prefer the S10. I prefer the feel of the P30 Pro in my hand and I find the UI much better, but others disagree.
I would try and find a store that has them both on display to handle and see if you can try them side by side.

I sent my P30 pro back. I can not disagree that this is probably the best camera on a phone and if photography is your thing then, yes this is the phone for you. However if photography is your thing, wouldn't you have a decent camera anyway?

So, why did I send it back? I thought the screen was awful, looking washed out at times and and as for the speaker, just awful and tinny. I also missed not having a notification light, however petty you might think that this is. I like my phones to be a good solid all rounder and be good but not the best at all everything.

I am now using the Mate 20 Pro and it's great, does most things well. Better screen, excellent camera, stereo speakers, fantastic battery life and led notification light. I am not a Samsung fan but my partner has a S10  and this is the ultimate swiss army knife of mobile phones, but as I said, I'm not a big fan of Samsung.

Certainly agree about the UI. Huawei/EMUI has a long way to catch up on this. Then again, that's just a personal opinion based on P20 Pro/Mate 20 Pro ownership in the past.

The P30 pro is without doubt the best camera on a mobile phone and viewing the pictures you have taken on you HD/4k television is superb.

What I find strange is why Huawei have chosen to put a 1080p screen on a photo centric handset. Why not at least go with the same screen as the Mate 20 Pro

Watching many reviews the pictures on the p30 Pro looks very unnatural and reddish on daylight photos which is when most people take their photos. I'm going between p30 Pro and Samsung s10 , I need the best camera but not sure which is better.
