been on 9.5.7 for about 10 days now - camera is greatly improved.

If you want the updates quicker use Oxygen Updater app - nothing dodgy about it - works fine.

Mine updated this morning.

OnePlus are efficient with their updates.

That's the 3 & 3t getting official pie updates which is superb.

I ordered a Oneplus 7 Pro from ebay yesterday, using the 10% off code.  Only the 128gb version but that's plenty for me.

Should be here by the end of the week, so I'm now looking for a case and screen protector.

If you want the 6GB/128Gb version, 3 will do it with a £10 top-up. Otherwise, John Lewis have the 8Gb/256Gb and the whole range is on OnePlus.com. I got mine from John Lewis cos I'm impatient and they had a blue one in stock.

Got my 9.5.7 update 'au naturel' on Saturday morning, although if I'd had to wait much longer I'd have used the updater app...

Just realised that there is a screen protector fitted, presumably from the factory?  Is it worth leaving this on, or should I (attempt to!!) put on a better one?

If its the same as the one on the OP6 then id just leave it alone until it looks scuffed, then swap it.  (unless you specifically want to replace it out of the box)

I still use the factory fitted screen protector on my 3T, it does the job and still in great condition. My 5 had the factory screen protector removed before I got it and trying to find one to fit its curved edges hasn't worked out, so I wish it still had the factory one on it.

Personally I would leave OP's one on the 7 Pro, so you don't have to deal with the challenge of its curved edges.

Thanks folks, I'll leave the screen protector as it is then!

Finally replaced my knackered note 4 and got the 8gb 7. Initial thoughts are good. Everything is so much snappier (including browsing this site).

Now to get a new case and screen protector and then maybe a portable DAC / amp and some new headphones.
