Nokia 9 PureView Review & Comments

I like it. I've got a Nokia 7.1 which I bought as a cheapie to tie me over whilst insurance for the iPhone X came through. But ended up using it 3 months and travelled all over the world with me. I really like what Nokia is doing with their Android models, but for me ultimately I just prefer another OS...

A score of 8 seems a been 'mean' to me, I'd have thought that considering how cheap it is it would get at least 1 bonus point

Maybe I did, but there are paragraphs on the Screen Quality, unlocking, a long section on the Camera...
Don't see one word regarding the quality or strength of signal for phone calls. Or if the keyboard is good, or...anything productive, which is where Nokia made their name

There are no separate keyboards anymore And strength of signal is all much of the same as well with few manufactures dominating the market of those chip sets. Those aren’t really distinguishing features nor area to be concerned about anymore.

I am on about the digital keyboard used on a Phone. Not all Manufacturers use the Standard keyboard.
& the chipset does not decide how good or well-placed the Aerials are

You can install any keyboard you like. It is an Android One phone, so pretty much vanilla and how it was intended. So again that is not a differentiating feature.

Agreed, it does not decide how good or well place the trials are. However in 2019 that is a total none issue. The networks are good enough. It is a non issue, you are not going to get a material difference between phones.

Totally disagree. I travel in my business Worldwide, & so need a phone that can pick up signals - very frequently, (As I am usually travelling with Business Groups of ten or more people), individuals have trouble getting a signal on a particular phone, whereas others constantly do not. This is outside, inside, etc.
Yes, I know many, many places have WiFi, but as soon as these networks allow many people to access them, the standard usage of people nowadays reduces these networks to a crawl, so much so that I frequently turn off WiFi on my phone to have decent service.
I am glad your usage case allows for you to always have good service, but business-wise I need to know how Good a phone is as a phone.

Well then, you should care if it is a good phone.

I am not knocking the phone, just the review for its shortcomings
