Fair play, in a flip case I do but don't suppose a flip case will work with this foldable phones

So be interesting what they come up with for these devices that don't look ridiculous.

For a first generation of pocket-sized, foldable screens, these are obviously expensive and compromised. But it's interesting, and most commentators reckon this will go somewhere in the next few years. Probably not the phone/tablet combo, but more as a simply foldable tablet. But it needs more of a reason to exist, than because it just can. It's a real watch-this-space situation..

I love gadgets but 2000 pounds for foldable phablet seems a bit excessive to me. The iPhone did not do as well as expected and Apple attribute it to the slow down in China's economy. However, It think that the main reason was the very high price that most people struggled to digest.

The Mate X is what a new generation/ next gen phone should look like, not the Fold.
For some reason the Fold looks 'dated' if that makes sense, and its a brand new type of device. Maybe it will be different once people get a hands on feel for it?

Ah Steve B, the visionary.  Genuinely, how did he get the MS gig?  The prices are a bit of a blocker - makes an iPhone look reasonable... I thought someone beat Samsung to market with a foldable phone?
