This isn't the worst film I have ever seen, but it is definitely the dullest. Do real people exist who are as vacant as these two characters? The end of a friendship is a good subject for a movie, but for a movie to work the audience has to care about the characters. One of the two men is an overgrown adolescent pothead, the other a more responsible father-to-be, but neither of them have any interesting qualities. They have virtually nothing to say to each other. I think this was supposed to illustrate how they had grown apart, but what wasn't elaborated was why they had become friends in the first place.
I thought the actors did a good job with the minimal material that they were given to work with and the woodland scenery was pretty. One of the characters has a pet dog that has more personality than either of the men. If it weren't for the dog and the scenery, I would have fallen asleep watching this.
