loved the movie from beginning to end...and yes they had to shoot the German because he was the enemy and could have shot them too...you see a Nazi uniform you are scared automatically...believe me I've been there...anybody who says different were not in this war...the acting was great but the English guy reminded me of Hugh Grant...does not matter it had a little humor which you needed at that time...loved the British gunner..also saw him in harry potter...all together it was a fantastic movie, really liked it and reminded me of home...sounds funny but this is what it did to me...I guess there were many incidences like in the movie were enemies all of a sudden become friends and had to help eacht other...war brings out the best and the worst in you I guess...
