Been looking at options for either three or four camera Hikvision system.

Can someone advise if 6mp is preferable to 4mp?
Are Darkfighters worth considering?
Anything to consider?

I have had a quote for £970 to fit, 4x DS-2CD2365G1-i, 4 Chan NVR, trunking, setup, config for mobile devices.

Does that sound reasonable??

Yes that sounds like a very fair price. Take the 6mp if the price is the same. I love my Darkfighters.

Cheers, what size HD should I be looking for?
Chap mentioned setup for motion, showed me some video from today & last night, you can clearly see a feline strutting towards his drive.

4TB WD Purple should be fine for 4 cameras. I run mine 24/7 recording, gives me about a month before it over-writes.

What model NVR is it?

Well took roughly eight hours to fit,

DS-7600 NVR with Seagate 2TB Skyhawk drive,

4 x DS-2CD2365G1-I cameras,

Outside cabling run in conduit & very pleased with quality of finish & fit.

Now have front door, side extension & back door & other side of extension views. Set up for motion capture & all bushes & trees excluded from recording.

Will up load some shots when I get some time over next few days.
