Lots of detail! Thanks for sharing. I’ve not had any issues with my Ikea E27, but they are very close to my hub which probably helps. I too had difficultly adding a WW E27, like you I got there in the end. The White Spectrum all worked flawlessly from the start.

Are the GU10s on the same room as the hub having timing issues with fade up and fade down or just ones that were further away?

Hi, yea sorry, should have quoted.

It was in relation to this comment: 'Ikea bulbs fade up and down out of step with each other.'

Was just worried as there are nine GU10 downlighters in my living room and it's going to look proper strange if they dim out of sync with each other.

I’ve never had any issue with ‘controlled’ dimming or switching out of sync (by that I mean dimming via the app, switch or Alexa). What does seem to happen is they switch on in a random order when triggered by the motion sensors. When walking into a room the lights will switch on with a very slight delay between them (about 1/10th second).  At first I thought this was intentional as it creates quite an impressive effect!

The ikea gu10s do dim out of step with each other but it doesn't look that weird to me. I wouldn't like it in my av room though.

The Ikea E27s have been better of late. I don't know if the recent software upgrade to the Hue's did something but the Ikea bulbs have been doing their sunrise/sunset fades with greater reliability in the last few days.

Need to get mine the weekend.  Thinking I might go for the warm white only, as not sure the novelty of ambient light changing is enough to justify twice the price.  I'm sure the novelty will wear off quite quickly and then wonder how often I'l be bothered to change it.

I do change it in the kitchen/bedroom. All my bathrooms and traffic areas like hall/porch etc are WW only.

It’s quite easy to change between scenes (such as “cooking” and “reading”) using Alexa.

I thought the same and installed a mixture of white and tuneable white Innr GU10 in my kitchen/dining room. Once installed I've actually found being able to choose different white colours to be far more useful than I thought.
I ended up returning the Innr GU10 and replaced them with genuine Hue white ambient ones, not for that reason but because the Innr Gu10 buzzed but I'm glad I had to TBH.
Unless you've got loads of lights I'd suggest the tuneable white bulbs would be very worthwhile for a relatively small cost. At least in rooms you spend any time in
