So I went with the standalone option and it seems to work fine. However, before fitting it back completely to the wall, please can anyone advise if these 3 neutral feeds should be connected the way I have done it (all three feeds wired to N), or should I only use one and cap the other two?

This is the same with the live feed, when I removed the one I'm replacing, there were two brown wires connected to L and one connected to L1, so the way I have wired it to the new switch is also two brown wires to the L, one to the L and three to the N. Again, should I only be using one wire to L instead of the two?

Any advice would be appreciated.

They need to stay terminated together.
One of them will be the supply nuetral and the other 2 nuetral to the light fitting and nuetral to the next light switch for the next light to work.

Thanks Jamie. So no issue with the way it's all connected? I'll complete fitting it properly later on.

Still have issue connecting to WiFi, but that's another problem.

I'd have probably used a small bit of wire  to connect from the terminal block to the new switch rather than cramming in all 3 cores. I can see the copper cores where the 3 cores enter the switch so that needs to be better.

If they fit in the switch terminal and there's no copper visible it's fine though.
