Hi all, I've just bought an iegeek camera from Amazon, all installed etc however the software it recommends hicampro is giving me some issues.

Does anybody else use it or have experience?

I have the app open on my phone it records 10minute 56mb files which I can recall and view through the app. The problem.comes when I close the app on my phone it appears to stop recording? Abit confused?

Does anybody else use this camera or software that can shed any light?

Thanks
Rob

Does the camera have either its own internal SD card storage or a cloud service of some sort?

If it doesn't the TBH that sounds like the expected behaviour.

Yes it has its own as card slot which I've got a 128gb card in.  From what I gather the app connects to the camera and reads the card for the files, however it only seems to pickup the ones on the card when the app is open??

Just to test it could you stick the card in a PC and see what's actually on the card.

It appears to have sorted itself out?

Noticed a couple of settings that had gone abit crazy, it reset itself to Beijing time aswell which meant the planned recording times I put in were all 8hours out

Thank you for taking the time to reply Jamie.
