How do I know when playing hdr example Netflix as oled says it in corner of screen thanks

It is not recommended to have OLED's in rooms were direct sunlight hits the screen, if the TV is always in the shade that is fine but you run the risk of getting burn in on the OLED panel if direct sunlight shines on it over the long term.

Click the wheel on the LG remote and select and click on the the banner bar at the top of the screen, it will list picture details saying resolution (2160p = 4K) and if it's in HDR. Also the picture display presets will be listed as HDR variants if you go into picture settings.
