I doubt you will get a definite answer, 1TB SSDs haven't been around that long and are still pricey. So get one that suites your budget and has the longest warranty/best specs. Currently the Samsung Pro range offers a 5year warranty.
Yeah, but last time Samsung had a major problem (the 840 Evo issues) their solution was a sorta-workaround with firmware updates rather than a complete fix or recall.
I normally like Crucial drives and use a 1Tb SSD for storage but i wouldn't recommend there m.2 drive as i just replaced one that was getting crazy hot when doing nothing, now using a Samsung 970 Evo NVMe for the OS
