Funny video problem

I reached for something under my monitor and bumped the power switch turning it off. I turned it back on and I didn't get the video back. Had to hit reset on PC and back to normal.

Is this unusual? Some problem?

ETA: PSU is Seasonic 520 watt and card is Sapphire HD7770 1G DDR5 ePCI. Both bought and installed in 2012.

It can happen, sudden loss of power can corrupt both hardware and software leading to unpredictable results. If a reset has corrected it then I wouldn’t worry.
