Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone could advise on my 2 query’s below thanks

Noticed the V-NAND Express cards from Samsung are coming down in price and wondered if I would see any improvement in speed / Samsung SSD connected by Sata V PCI connected straight to motherboard, or Paul dit be very minimal and not worth the hassle?

Also how easy would it be to transfer the operating system from the Samsung SSD to the PCI? Would I need any special leads or anything?

That depends on which model you have now and how limited your workload is by disk I/O.

But given you're second question you're presumably asking about normal home use, in which case the answer is no. Common programs used at home aren't limited by the speed of even a slow SSD and a faster one will provide no benefit.
