I am having this same problem.  Proximity to access points is definitely not the issue.  Only restarting velop fixes it.

Have you tried turning off client steering? So far mine hasn't dropped off and disconnected since I disabled that feature

Is this a new feature added recently?

I haven't had any issues previously.  I have had setup for several years without issue.

I will turn off that setting and monitor.

It was added in July. However there was a firmware update in October to add Linksys Aware so this may be having an effect.

I'm going to enable client steering again soon to see if the problem starts again

There's a lot of problems being blamed on the October update in the Linksys forums

The other one to try is disabling node steering

Some info and related threads from the Linksys forum
Node Steering and Client Steering in July 2019 Firmware?                                                                                                        I noticed in the release notes for the firmware released last month, "Added Node Steering and Client Steering features".  Can anyone from Linksys give more information on what these features do?                                                                                                                                                                                                        community.linksys.com                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                PSA - 1.1.10.197424 for WHW0301, WHW0302, WHW0303 posted                                                                                                        https://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=207568   Dated last month, but think it only appeared on the site in the last day or so. As predicted, main focus seems to be LInksys Aware (and of course the regular bug fix caveat)   Firmware version:        1.1.10.197424 Release date:                October 8...                                                                                                                                                                                                        community.linksys.com

I've turned off both steering options and still getting nest camera drops.

I think I'm going to have to figure out how to load older firmware on the nodes.

I think the second post to the Linksys forum had links to the old firmware
