Is this only the latest HP BIOS or is this a modified version of the latest HP BIOS?

Right, installed the BIOS update on my MicroServers yesterday and the 4/5th SATA port now definitely works as SATA but im still concerned that in the BIOS post it still says IDE Hard Disk as per my pic below?!

Is everyone getting this and is there a way to test in Windows 2k8 R2 that the drives are running as AHCI and not IDE??

Yes its set to ACHI in the BIOS as opposed to IDE or RAID which is why its strange, or is it supposed to read like that in the BIOS? TheBay?   I don't care what the BIOS says as long as Windows is seeing ACHI mode etc...

Mine shows same. Once they are AHCI you should get them showing in the eject device icon (where USB drives normally show). Mine do (but HP N40L).
