I've only ever seen DLM change a line profile once a day if that and it's usually around 1-4am generally. DLM is also constantly on a line. It doesn't end after 10days. If a line is performing perfectly it may never change a thing. If a line starts dropping/erroring a year after being installed DLM will kick in and continue to alter the line to try and stop this.

An easy way to tell if you have interleaving on is if you can see the sync rate vs the max obtainable rate. Interleaving will knock the sync rate down a bit.

What you might find is the upgrade has forced the profile onto a standard low interleaved level at 80/20 and in a few days if the line is not erroring constantly DLM will change it to a retransmission profile instead will does not effect the speed/ping nearly as much as well as capping it below 80/20 if those speeds are not obtainable at your property.

Very few lines have neither interleaving or retransmission on.

Sky cannot adjust the DLM settings themselves, only Openreach can and you will be hard pressed to find someone from Openreach that will hard set DLM settings on a fibre line.

Ok thanks. My line has not changed at all since last Thursday. Still connecting at 59MBps. Still a ping over wired to speedtest.net servers of 25ms.

Do you think that means that is it and it will stay at that point or is it likely to increase the speed at any point?

I only ask because others I've seen on forums who connected at the low end of the range (or in my case below the suggested range) saw their speeds go up within 2-3 days.

If it is on interleaving the DLM could possibly change it to retransmission or if sky have set it as a speed path instead of stable then the DLM could possible start lowering the SNR down to 3db which would increase speeds but could cause the line to be less stable.

Without knowing the current line profile its hard to say.

Do you know how far you are from the FTTC cabinet or the line attenuation
