Official Rift S announcement soon?

Well i didn't think they would be announcing a new Rift till OC this year Rift S was an unexpected baby so i'm going to try & sit on my hands till then to see if i learn more about Oculus plans.

I think you can ignore that, If you look at the stories they have covered in VR, They slate Oculus 99% of the time and have minimal coverage of anything HTC

My head hurts just reading the last few pages. Who cares who makes what? I'm going to get a Quest or a Vive Focus Plus because I've owned both PSVR and a Rift and decided although they were great (even the PSVR) - I jus't coudn't do with the cables and cumbersome setup. That's my personal situation and not dissing either headset.
Now if I have to decide between a Quest or a Focus Plus - I'll go with whichever can offer me the same titles on a subscription based service, for example if VivePort M does Beat Saber etc, then great.
Also the point of manufacturers, Coca Cola make Monster AFAIK but the drinks called Monster, same as an Apple iPhone not being called a FoxConn iPhone. But again, who cares !

Well that's the only reason I can think of for his bizarre anti-Oculus agenda. He's well known for it, and got permanently banned from the Oculus forums because of it. It would be funny if it wasn't quite so sad.
