2-3 week delivery from Apple though, and JL give a 2 year warranty.

So it's not called iWatch?  It's called Apple Watch Series 4?  I didn't realise.  I thought all their products were i something

Good luck getting it from John Lewis mate

Passed few years we have tried getting an iPhone from them and their new stock is very minimal, it’s also drip fed through the day. May very well be different for the watch but just something to think about.

A lot of people think the same with the warranty with JL but ends up someone else getting the devices

Have they changed it with the series 4?
In the past it’s only been the Edition and Hermès variants that have had 2year warranty as standard, the less expensive models have come with a single year from Apple

ALL products purchased directly from Apple will be covered for two years even if only quoted as one.  Thank the European rules for that.

That's a little know fact to be fair and one that Apple aren't exactly shouting about. The 1 year warranty plus the optional Applecare protection (that covers accidental damage etc) is what most people care about. Without applecare  faulty hardware is covered under the 2 year standard cover.
