Ahhh, didnt realise there was a GAA thread on here, Dont really watch the Football, more a Hurling man.

Looking forward to the Semi-Finals, Hoping to get down to at least one of them.

Would expect Cork and Kilkenny to get to the Final

As for the football, cant see anyone beating Dublin

Great game of hard, hard hurling yesterday in sometimes torrential rain.

Kilkenny will be mighty relieved to get out with the win.

Was great to watch a game where players are not rolling around the ground or crying in agony at the slightest touch.

Think i will head down to this weekends game, so hope its a good game too.

It was a great game, and typical of some of the classics we've seen in hurling over the last couple of years.

The Armagh v Donegal was another hard hitting tight struggle. Thought Armagh had it when they got the goal but credit to Donegal for staying calm and finishing the game out. Dublin look unstoppable though.

I originally put the thread in the Football section as I follow Gaelic football more than hurling and also to point out that there's more than 1 type of football in the world (I was having a bit of a dig at the "soccer" players at the time for being over-paid pretty boys), but I agree it would probably be better suited to the general sports section.

well ended up going to the Cork - Tipp Game.

Was a very poor game in truth, Couldn't believe how bad Cork where although Tip where very good.

Should make for an interesting final, although i cant see Kilkenny being as poor as Cork.

Would have to fancy Kilkenny to win it

What a second half today, felt sorry for Mayo deserved a win for that inspired comeback - at least they get another crack at it

Yeah, it was a great game, think Mayo have blown their chance now.

Looking forward to Dublin v Donegal. All year I've said Dublin will walk it, but I'm now starting to think Donegal might just have enough to cause an upset. I can't see Dublin being allowed to play their free flowing/scoring game and Jim has a habit of winning matches.

For anyone who didn't see it....
