Whomever is setting up the league on nfl.com needs to send us all an invitational email I beleive?

I don't mind setting this up, so if you want to send me your email addresses by Tuesday of next week, I can get the league created on the Wednesday for a draft on Thursday night. (website dependent)

In terms of other leagues, I will fess up to being in another one with work mates, but want one without the politics of the people in it.

I will try to set up a team each week and will be following it with the other league so it's not a problem to keep on top of it.

Send the emails over and I will send out the invite next week.

I can run the league at 3pm EDT (which is about 8pm UK time) if that is OK for every one.

Also do people want standard draft or Auction (have a budget and bid on players, rather than it goes in turns.)

And if we do do turns are we running Standard or Snake.

8pm thurs works for me. Kids packed off to bed so I can concentrate!
No preference on standard/snake format, but would prefer not to do auction. Just picking in turn simplifies it and would probably be quicker.

Well as one of the people that have a few teams, I will say I'm 100% committed to this one. My other teams are different set-ups. Eg NFC only, dynasty etc so will be involved in this until the bitter end!

I vote for non auction and snake draft. I think snake is the fairest way of drafting as nobody wants to be permanently last!

8pm Thusday 5th Sept is good for me too...

My draft preference for fairness would be as follows...

9 Player starting Lineup (1 x QB, 2 x RB, 2 x WR, 1 x TE, 1 x DEF/ST, 1 x K   1 x Flex)
Random - Draft Order is randomized 1 hour prior to the draft starting @ 8pm BST
Standard - NO Auction
Snake Format - I think this is the fairest way to draft
RB/WR Flex Option - Included
No LB's or DB's. - Otherwise the Draft just goes on all night!!

For people who are not too familiar with Fantasy Football and the Online Draft I would advise registering on nfl.com/fantasy ASAP and having a go at one or two of the mock drafts which they hold from about 1pm onwards BST. This will familiarize yourself with how things will work next Thursday, although you do get a few extra more seconds in the actual real thing...

How many players do we actually draft each for the squad though - I take it we will have more than 9 picks each or is that how the team management works during the season.

And sorry to ask but I had a look and didn't understand the flex either - is that one we can nominate at either position, so could have 3 RB and 2 WR?

Am sure it will be easier to see when I have another look at it.

Yeah flex means you can either use another RB, WR or TE. There is normally a bench of about 7 where you will want backups which will allow you to cover injuries and bye weeks.

Thats the way to go , bearing in mind the amount of first timers then the simpler ( more standard settings ) the better. IDP is a bit much out of the box.

that'll do nicely. That 8pm next week is a little bit late for me as im on nights . Is there any chance of pushing it to the friday or maybe 30 mins earlier ?
