Hi,

I need some help, we have 2 teenage looked after kids with us (siblings) and keep looking for a holiday but my god its hard to find places that have more than 1 bedroom. It needs to be relatively small was well due to one of them being a little autistic and not liking big crowds. I don't want a villa we need adult company too.

Any suggestions? not looking at long haul! Spain / Turkey

We are going back to the Barut Lara in Turkey in April, we use a two bedroom family room which was perfect for the 4 of us last year.

However this place is quite large, but it meant that even in peak August it never seemed busy, no large crowds really etc

Try booking through travel republic, i've used them twice for this resort now and they generally work out the least expensive and give multiple room options

I don't know where you are looking, does it have to be a hotel? Can't be an self catering apparent or villa? We are a family of 4, we want a minimum of 3 bedrooms and I've NEVER found it hard to find it at any destination we go to.

I was trying to avoid a villa as me and the mrs want some sort of adult conversation / interaction as well. The lads we will be taking tend to not really want to do much so my thoughts are all inclusive with things to do on site.

Self catering could work I guess but not secluded. It was much easier with our own children as you know all their little ways.

As for location Turkey and Egypt seem to have rooms that cater for larger families more than the likes of Spain. But we think 4 hours away is more than enough all we will here is "what time will we be there, are we there yet!" Lol

We have foster children and had the same problem, however Tenerife has good options usually

We have stayed in several in Tenerife

Apartamentos Tinerfe Garden, Adeje, Spain
This one was fine for our needs, they do 2 bedroom apartments which was perfect for us, no frills though basic accommodation small bar cafe and small pool, close to beach and restaurants all walking distance.

Bear in mind it’s basic though self catering we always go for, you may want somewhere a bit more upmarket?
