Is there any way to connect a NTFS HDD to firestick 4k?

Does anyone have a workaround to enable me to connect my 500gb ext HDD (NTFS) to my firestick 4k without formatting to fat32? I've got a OTG cable attached and a usb formatted at fat 32 works fine. Thanks in advance.

It depends on what function/software on the firestick that you're trying to use.

You talking about playing back video files stored on the hard drive?

You could connect the hard drive to another device (computer, nas, etc.) and stream the video to the firestick.
