This documentary covers everything in the world of comedy. War, race, sex, drugs, male, female, gay, foreign, and more.
Larry Charles travels the world to see what is considered comedy in war torn lands, to the United States, to the Far East. All cultures, all races are included.
Some of the story covers people I do not care for, so I skipped over those sections because it gives a platform to hate.
I thought it was interesting when he interviewed a former ISIS terrorist fighter, who ended up being a farmer who was lied to about the reason for the war.
Some of the scenes were very staged and they didn't appear to be natural. I also thought that there was a few American YouTuber's who aren't really comedians but more fads, who have a small following.
I didn't enjoy the humor of the former military dude who was obviously mentally impaired and was attempting to use comedy for therapy but it came across as mentally disturbed.
Overall, not a bad series.
