I don't know why this movie keeps getting bad reviews. It is brilliant and heartbreaking especially with Katies fate. I live in London and I thought this movie did an excellent representation of what SOME schools in London are like.
It has a strong story which you cannot ignore from start till finish and it really makes you want to keep watching just to see what happens to the characters although I did find the ending a little predictable. It might be a little strong for some people as there is drug taking and extreme violence but these only help to show the a message to kids: This is what you could end up like if your not careful. I do think that it was little daft in places but it was still amazingly realistic. I mean I do know people who act like the characters in this film and do take drugs and steal from shops.
It really touches you inside and makes you really think about the message of the film. I'm 16 and people I know who have seen this film have really been moved by it and now they really think about how they treat other people. I mean its not like I'm a chav or anything :)
People who have rated this badly obviously have missed the point so shame on you. This is easily the best film I have seen this year and I cant wait for Noel Clarkes next movie :)
