The production quality was very good overall and the 3D was amazing. There is a lot of great information packed into this movie. For those not familiar with the creation/evolution/intelligent design debate, it will require multiple viewings. I've been following this topic for almost 20 years and even I will be watching it again when it comes out on video.
A couple of minor nitpicks with this movie: One is regarding the narrator reading the Genesis account from the Bible. It was a little too slow for me. Sure, certain parts of the Genesis text were emphasized, but I still think could have been faster. The narration throughout the rest of the movie was fine. The second nitpick was regarding Dr. Charles Jackson talking about natural selection. He said that natural selection will "never get you from monkeys turning into people." Evolutionists will zero in on this and say that monkeys did not turn into people, but that apes and people (and ultimately monkeys as well) share a common ancestor. But in doing so, evolutionists will miss the point that natural selection can only select from existing information and is not a creative force. The PhDs from Answers in Genesis (Dr. Charles Jackson is not with AiG) got it right when they talked about evolutionists believing that apes and people share a common ancestor. Like I said, that was a minor nitpick. Dr. Charles Jackson is a very smart man with 4 degrees and overall was one of my favorite people in this movie.
Go see this movie - especially if you think there is a conflict between science and religion. The real conflict is between worldviews, not between science and religion.
