Imagine a ghost who takes the pains to custom make your own personal scare, and what's worse is that this isn't just some ghost that is randomly scaring people by haunting a particular place. This is the ghost of a woman named Eva who was accidentally drowned by a bunch of friends with whom she had an argument with one night. One of them accidentally causes her to bump her head against a block of marble and they all presume her dead, but when they try to hide her body in a lake she suddenly shows signs of life but terrified, the men still continue cause her to drown. 50 years later, after the death of one of the men, his grandson begins to do research into the ghost stories told by his grandfather's old friends and begins to discover things he was no necessarily looking for. Each of the men begin to disappear then die one by one and it's up to the grandson to get to the bottom of it all, but when he becomes injured, he not only discovers that he is a marked man as the sins of his grandfather become revisited upon him but also comes to the realisation that the ghost of Eva may or may not have gotten to the very last hope he rested on the last two surviving carriers of the secret who have failed to return to the snowed in cabin from going to get help. This movie was clearly the inspiration for the film: I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER. Only scarier this one is scarier. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
