Anyone looked at the overall processing stats ? Look how much processing power ps3 consoles are contributing to the overall total already

Also I just noticed how much noise the fan makes when its running folding, I can hear the fan going 20ft away, it must really push the cell processor

I am leaving it running over night I hope it dosnt burn the ps3 out ! Anyway as someone else mentioned its load testing the ps3. Lets see how releiable it is ! I have a pc running 24 / 7 for my business anyway, more the merrier...

Yeah it does drive the fans a bit... still pretty quiet though to my ears.

You can set it to start up after a few minutes of idle time, so it runs like a screensaver.  Managed to get 75% of a work unit done that way.. then reformatted the drive to fit a linux partition on.  Doh!

So pleased to see so many of you on board , I am just unwrapping my PS3 now, updating software.... Will be on board when possible.

For those of you who don't know you can run it in the background of your PC too, just use same team number.

You will not register on the stats site until you submit a Work Unit, and even then it is not likely to update in real-time.

TBH given those figures I wouldn't bother running it on a PC - in 2 days the PS3 has tripled the capacity of F&H using 1/7th as many machines...
