best i have seen England play since (as GB) they turned Australia over in Australia - 2006?

Absolutely gutted.

Going to the final next week - hope the match is as good as that one today as it was incredible.

Well done to all the England players - especially Sam Burgess who (as i mentioned earlier) is clearly the best forward in the world.

I hadnt watched any League since regularly watching Super League in the early 2000s, when the Bulls werent so sh*te. The second half was simply, the finest sporting spectacle in any sport I have seen for years. That England lost is almost immaterial to me; as an advert for the game it was perfect. Looking forward to the final, but truth be told NZ seemed only to have a couple of game changers, cant see anyway they could beat Australia

i thought NZ were poor in attack (not to take anything away from the English defence which was excellent) and they will have to go up about 4 gears to beat Australia

I think the Kiwis have more chance than England would have - we seem to have a mental block when it comes to Oz in the really big games.  The Kiwis have an advantage in playing the Australian players week in, week out and that they seem to dislike them with a real passion.

I suspect 95% of the crowd at Old Trafford will be supporting the Kiwis - like the 4 nations at Elland Road a few years back when they nilled Australia.

Come on Kiwis!!!   Roll on the next world cup

Well, just when I thought it would be a close game and NZ may win yet again, I had nothing to worry about!
