Booked tickets for my 7 year old son and myself to the opening ceremony in Cardiff. I'm really looking forward to it.

Australia vs England
Wales vs Italy

Anyone been to Cardiff Millennium stadium stadium. I'm going to the middle tier block M5 (sort of in the end goal area on the BT stand). Hopefully the view will be okay and my son will be able to see okay.

Got my Kangaroos jersey ready to wash and press and my son might as well wear his Brisbane Broncos kids jersey

England have the best forward pack in the world but unfortunately Australia and NZ have superior backs.  Any of the 3 could win.   

The last world cup was a foregone conclusion too - until New Zealand won it!!

Looking forward to this - the skills of the Aus / Kiwis, the sheer brutality and power of the south sea island teams (with skill too) the best forward in the world (Sam Burgess) rampaging for England.....  and hopefully England winning it

Yes some of the teams have no chance of winning it but the group games should all be competitive and entertaining which for me is the point. It is a chance to see some very skilled athletes playing a great sport

My tickets for the opening ceremony at Cardiff came through the letter box today My son is really excited!

Shame a lot of the group games are way up north (I live in the south coast) as I would mind seeing the likes of PNG, Tonga and Cook Islands play.

i went to england v fiji at the kc yesterday first half was dire second half england woke up but saw nothing to convince me that england wont progress beyond the semi final stage though obviously i hope im wrong! however the day was saddened by the tragic news that our former player,steve prescott had passed away after a long battle with stomach cancer. rip steve a true legend in rugby league.

OH MY GOD! what a game! We were rooting for England and what a painful finish! So unlucky for England, so were the better team in that game.
