More so in the the States, wearing Tapout or other MMA gear is sometimes seen as an attempt to look "hard". Personally I wear some MMA gear because it is the sport I love and fighters I support. Same way a football fan would wear a football shirt of his team. It is to show support, not because he is a footballer wannabe.

But that would (at my guess) probably be the kid's reasoning, so you're right. He was being ridiculous.

Well it's early. UFC 155 has just finished. Anyone else stay up to watch? Any opinions? Don't wanna say too much in case someone reads on here before watching haha

The main event was not what I was expecting an I thought the main and co main events saved the show.

[as expected] Poor show bar the main events. The Heavyweight battle was a great war. Better & much longer than I expected. Pleased with the result, too.

Lol, this made me laugh. I also bought a couple of Tapout t-shirts from sports direct, they both look cool(one is a Chuck Liddell shirt), but unfortunately, they both have 'Tapout' in rather large writing across the front.
I went shopping today, and didn't bother to change from what I was wearing around the house, which unfortunately was one of the Tapout T's. Lets just say, I made sure my coat was buttoned all the way to the top, Tapout is VERY uncool, and should only be worn indoors, or whilst running through fields and ditches to prove how hard you really are!
I usually wonder about lads I see wearing Tapout gear around town, a lot of them seem to be rather out of shape.
BTW, they are really crappy quality, and barely worth the tenner I paid for them.

Nah i only paid a few quid for a couple of mine and its simply to wear at work under my overalls but I do have a Kendall Grove Sig T and a couple of cheap hoodies too. I see a few people in them around my town as well but i usually just ask em if they're a fan of the sport or not. At the end of the day it's just clothing and something you wear to show your interest.

I also have Jaco Ts and Bad Boy Ts but nobody bothers when you wear those for some reason. It seems affliction is the same way as tapout also?

Is it just me, or was anyone else surprised by the way that JDS seemed to run out of gas in the FIRST round?  I understand the punch undoing him, and ruining him for the rest of the fight, but he seemed to be getting tired even before the punch was thrown.
Cain was bringing a fast pace, but he wasn't really DOING much, aside from some sloppy looking take down attempts, and charging in with winging punches.
I could understand if he was clinch fighting all round, or if Cain got a take down and was on top for a round, forcing JDS to expend a lot of energy in escaping, but I just didn't see where JDS spent so much energy.
I've seen all of JDS's fights, but TBH, cant remember much about how he fights, does he always keep his hands so low? I was amazed in the First at how low his hands were, and was expecting him to get nailed all round (which he did eventually).
Anyone's thought's on how the fight went down?

Absolutely no offence intended BTW
I'm sure there are plenty of lads in MMA clubs up and down the country who wear Tapout who would kick my ass with one hand (and both legs) tied behind their backs, it's just the image that they seem to convey, a victim of their own success maybe?
