The disturbing, but excellent story, is back. And is currently being shown on the UK Gold TV Channel, available on 'Sky' Satellite or UK Cable, at 0900 Sunday. This is as of January 2003.

I was sure the recent film '28 Days Later' reminded me of something, well, this BBC series is it.

It's not the Triffids menace that shocks, but rather how both the sighted and non-sighted react. It's the balance between hope, resignation and panic, set against the here and now, and not sometime in the future, that most disturbs me.

Having just watched the second (?) episode I've spent the last couple of hours looking references to it up on the web.

I'd certainly buy it, if I could find it. Assuming BBC Worldwide own it (as they half own UK Gold) I have mailed a request for buying it to the BBC Shop. But I'm not holding out much hope.
