I was a huge fan of "Full House" back in the day but this remake is too unrealistic to really be enjoyable. There are several big problems with this show.

The only even slightly believable character here is Kimmy Gibbler. Her style and personality in this reboot are consistent with who she was in the original and that's nice to see. She hasn't really changed; she's still lovable and goofy. She is what's keeping this show from being completely terrible.

If you've ever looked at the styles that the characters of DJ and Stephanie wear, you would see that some of the clothing they wear costs several hundred to a couple of thousand dollars...pretty expensive and unrealistic for a veterinarian with three children and an unemployed ex-DJ.

Stephanie looks and acts like a tramp; she's made several references to men she's slept with. Definitely not a 'family-friendly' show. DJ keeps bouncing between Steve and Matt and supposedly very soon after her husband passed away. Her baby is not even a year old so her husband couldn't have been dead for very long.

The things that happen in the show are very over the top. Stephanie and Kimmy get the New Kids on the Block to come to the house? DJ gets front row tickets to their show and pulled on stage and sung to? DJ goes in and wrestles? Two handsome and successful doctors are fighting over her? And I'm sorry, but no women look as beautiful and put together as DJ and Stephanie do all the time....especially not when you are a working mom with three small children.

Speaking of the children, the two child actors who play her two oldest boys are annoying! The lines are forced, the dialogue is embarrassing and the reactions are just sad. Kids just don't belong in a sitcom unless it's "Everybody Loves Raymond" style...where it actually worked.

There are too many cheesy references to Full House, too much canned applause when one of the originals turns up, too many sexual innuendos and too many unrealistic situations and people in this show for it to ever be enjoyable. It seems to be more of a vehicle for the always-narcissistic Candace Cameron Bure to show herself off...once again.

Will not be tuning in again.
