Can't compare to original...

As a mother of 2 and someone who used to watch Full House growing up, this reboot could of been so much better!! The writers are terrible. All they want to do is write funny one liners. Nothing is believeable. Sure there are some funny parts but where are the lessons learned in each episodes and the realness of the characters?
My daughter and I are on season 4 and we both prefer full house the original.
D.J. is the worst in this! She used to be my favorite character but now she is this weird hellicopter stepford mom. She isn't loveable or believable as a widow trying to raise 3 boys ... And supposed to be a veterinarian who loves animals, yet she doesn't act like it. She wears fur jackets (animal abuse) and complains about pets.
They never talk about the deceased Dad and D.J. just makes out with all these men only 1 year after her husbands death.
They should also refer to michele and all the other characters more often... All they say is " you got it dude , oh my lanta, have mercy " etc. But it all falls so flat.
My daughter asked why the parents are always drinking wine and vodka etc... It just doesnt seem like a family show anymore that I can watch with my kids.
