Some great locations in there! Mine will be most likely the west Highlands, around the area marked on the map few posts ago.

My missus and my son are both going abroad so I'll have some time to, maybe even, do few days.

Still some time left to plan everything though but the idea is already forming in my mind

I've done a few road trips in my RS Clio.  Scotland, Wales, Belgium (Spa), Germany (Ring), Switzerland/France.

Almost certainly getting rid of the Clio next year but i'd like to do one more in her.

If you like driving (which i love) then a good road trip is fantastic.

Sadly, given the price of fuel now days (and dire exchange rate), roads trips are pretty expensive.  A week or so around Europe with fuel/ferry/accomodation etc etc would pay for a nice holiday in Asia/USA etc etc.

Most of my car friends have scaled back on that sort of stuff too.

Probably on cost grounds.

Either that or they're off doing other stuff like having kids/getting married

If i go solo i'll probably combine a Scottish road trip with a trip to the Lakes as i do that at least once a year.

Some nice long days will be nice so i'll start planning soon for next June...

Nice photos, and some beautiful scenery to drive through by the looks of it.
