Is there a better all rounder than the 335D XDrive?

Oh come on mate. Where's the nostalgia for the Sedona.

Audi A4 Allroad.

Let down by two, I was nostalgic for the 1999 petrol one we used to have so bought another, a 2008: completely different engine, yet it let me down.  Not going to happen thrice...

If I were going to pick a family car with a big boot, plenty of grunt and quite fun to drive I'd have to give the Skoda Octavia VRS Estate a good looking over.

Sorry, back in love with big, lightly turbo'd petrol engines. Nothing puts a smile on your face like the instantaneous power from burying the loud peddle in an M3 or M5. Not sure I could go back to a diesel or limited capacity petrol with a big turbo. That's really the only thing stopping me getting a Golf R at the moment.

If I had the money, probably Mercedes-AMG C 63 Estate
