It'll be fine, you'll get bid up by the trade on a lemon somebody was glad to see the back of , pay way too much and it'll break down 20ft outside of the warranty.

Best thing to do is go and have a look with no money in your pocket though it's not like a regular auction, you don't have to register, once you've won you go to the cashier to pay a deposit then go to the cash office and settle up, they do the V5 which they charge you £25 to do

They love the public buying cars , loads of commission plus fees for filling out the V5 and very little in the way of customer rights

When I was in the trade, I used to send every part exchange to BCA as I was getting far more than other dealers would pay. I don't think there's too many deals to be had these days unless you want an ex fleet car. Everything I sent was above board, hpi clear, service history etc but that's not to say everyone else is as honest

Looking for a 2/3 year old BMW Audi 3/4 series or A5. Got about 20K to spend.

There's a lot of choice about just hoping to get a bit more for my £.

Might be a few more coming on the market with the plate change at the end of the month.

Some good advice given there.
What i would add is that any cars that dealers take in in px that have issues tend to go straight to the auctions.
Some cars do come with a warranty and some come with a 24 hr warranty, meaning if you buy it you have just 24 hrs to bring it back if there is a major problem . Many of course are sold as seen and i may be just an old cynic but most of those cars will have serious issues / are cattle trucked.
Personally i prefer buying from a private sale.

agree on the private sale thing as that's the only place i go for second hand cars you can drive a much better deal than a dealer.   The small one man dealers trading from their garden / farm or whatever i personally have little faith in but im sure most are honest and this is just my personal preference.  These warranty's they offer need to be looked at in great detail as to what is actually covered.  So for me id rather run the risk buying privately for the savings.
